Imagine fire cannons bursting into the sky, clouds of dense smoke, strobe lights, speakers and amps bigger than cars, and a sea of faces in a hyped up crowd. Sounds like a hell of a party, right? Greece may be going broke but they still know how to let the good times roll!

The party doesn’t stop on the Greek Isle of Mykonos, which competes only with Ibiza for the title of party capital of the world. It only makes sense that the turntable at Cavo Paradiso, one of the isles big night clubs, has been graced with the talent of many world renowned DJs such as David Guetta, Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold.

In 2016, they have already featured Alesso, Axwell, Benny Benassi, Bob Sinclar, Cedric Gervais, Fedde Le Grand, Ingrosso, Marco Carola, Martin Solveig, Skrillex, and many more!

Overlooking the Aegean Sea, this beautiful cliff side club takes pride in hosting giant orgies of delightful debauchery. Cavo Paradiso is pretty much a place full of people partying like it’s their last night on earth while indulging in copious amounts of booze, and engaging in random hook-ups.

We’re not sure why they even divided the place into separate sections for men and women, especially since the bathrooms don’t have doors anyway, which definitely gives off that co-ed college dorm vibe.

It’s extremely ironic that this scene even exists in a Grecian setting, especially since Greece seems to have fallen on hard times recently. It was once known as the birthplace of great things such as mythology, theater, democracy, philosophy, and metaphysics, to name a few. Unfortunately, crippling debt is what now defines this country.

So how does Mykonos continue to party like there’s no tomorrow? It may appear that the isle is immune to this catastrophe, but that is not the case. What it really comes down to is the Cycladean islanders simply don’t give a crap and they just want to dance. They choose to remain oblivious to the current issues and have taken the “ignorance is bliss” stance.

For now, Mykonos continues to flourish with its sexy night clubs, so now is the time to get your party on. July is peak party season too! If booze and bad decisions are your forte then you may just want to hop on the next plane!
