Here are four quick ways to detox and get a jump start on that healthy summer body!

When Life Gives You Lemons

Immediately when you wake up, drink a glass of water with fresh lemon. It provides your body with hydrating electrolytes and will cut down the process of dehydration that your body went through overnight. It’s important to replenish your fluids and get that Vitamin C the lemon juice provides along with the antioxidants.

Eat Broccoli

When your mom made you eat broccoli as a kid, she wasn’t just trying to torture you. You can reduce heart disease, diabetes and cancer with broccoli, one of the healthiest foods you can eat. Also, eating things like kale, collard greens, cabbage and cauliflower, is great for you as they’re high in antioxidants and can quickly detox the body.

Tea Time

Sipping tea can help boost liver function and decrease toxins built up in your tissues. Tea containing dandelion or milk thistle is the best option to go with, as studies have shown they can stimulate enzymes that make toxins less harmful and help cells.
