In every James Bond film, there is always one constant that stands out. Yes, you knew he was going to get the bad guy, but that wasn’t nearly as intriguing as how he was going to smooth talk his way into the bed of yet another drop-dead gorgeous woman.

Here are a few tips on how to develop that same type of “Bond Brilliance” that will help you land the babes.

Observe and Report

The first rule of being a great spy is to always be aware of your surroundings. A good spy has to know everything about the room in order to ensure what he can use as a potential weapon in case of emergency.

Start With the Most Crucial Points

Know where all the entrances/exits are and how many there are.

How many windows are there? How high are the windows from the ground? Will you be able to jump out the window and avoid danger? How many people are in the room? Is that guy reaching into his pocket for a knife or a cigarette?

Point being, always be on your toes. But, be smooth about it. You can’t be sweating with wide eyes looking paranoid.

Three Words: Always Be Closing

Sure, this might be hijacked from Glengarry Glen Ross, but it still holds true. You always need to have a confident, charismatic attitude that borders the line of cockiness. Another aspect of each 007 movie is Bond’s suaveness. He shows off his power which gives him that edge, while never being frightened by anything – not even death.

Be Smart

This is pretty damn obvious but you need logic and intuition to survive the lifestyle of a top secret agent. Always be one step ahead of everyone else by thinking critically in every situation, which includes having those strong gut feelings.

Now, you’re probably asking, “How the hell am I supposed to have a confident gut feeling?” Valid point. After all, they’re called gut feelings for a reason. The key is to put yourself in as many situations where you don’t have all the facts or resources available to pull you out of the situation – these could be life-threatening… or not.

Your intuition arises from having been there before several times in your lifetime. It’s also crucial to have an intensity with your efforts to find a solution, and be calm, cool, and collected when under any high pressure situation.

Don’t Be Afraid To Be a Dog

James Bond never felt bad about using women to further his knowledge of the bad guy. You shouldn’t feel that way either. So what, you sleep around while on the job. You need to have a little fun, right?

Disguise Yourself

Secret agents are secretive for a reason: they can blend into any environment without missing a beat. Whether you’re forced to wear a mask or just different clothes you wouldn’t normally wear, get out of your comfort zone and experiment with different styles!

And in conclusion…

Well, we can’t tell you anymore of our spy training secrets or we’d have to kill you. Good luck in your efforts in becoming the next 007!
