This April, season XIV of the World Poker Tour will be hitting Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Hotel and Casino in Florida. The first stop will be the $3,500 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship. This of course, will be followed by the $10,000 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Finale. It will take a full year but both guarantee a $2 million dollar prize pool.

The Showdown Championship runs from April 15-20 and the Finale will run from the 17-21.  Another part of the tour is the Seminole Hard Rock Poker High Roller event with a buy-in at $25,500. The guaranteed prize is a cool million. Also, exclusively available to the Season XIV Champions and members of the WPT Champions Club, is the Tournament of Champions with a $15,000 buy-in. This will run April 22-24

In the $10,000 buy-in for the WPT Hard Rock Poker Finale, the Seminole Gaming Director, Jason Newman says “things can be taken a step further.” They will offer a $25,500 High Roller event with one million guaranteed. Catering will be held for the pros and wealthy amateurs in the business.

The last item on the agenda is a charity poker tournament presented by the partnership with the WPT Foundation and Hard Rock. Then, on April 13, tournament proceeds will go to the Jason Taylor Foundation. This foundation was put together by the Miami Dolphins’ Hall of Fame to work towards helping local children in education and health care.

If you’ll be in Florida around these dates, you know which casino to hit up!
